14 July 2015 – In honour of Mandela Day, Newsclip donated 67 minutes to the United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa (UCPA) in Rosettenville, Johannesburg.
In honour of Mandela Day, Newsclip donated 67 minutes to the United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa (UCPA) in Rosettenville, Johannesburg.
Staff spent time with the children and adults affected with Cerebral Palsy. Hugs, dancing, jokes and conversation lifted moods and put smiles on faces.
The home currently cares for 45 people, aged three to over 45, most of whom were abandoned by family members. For six decades the Association has served those affected with Cerebral Palsy in the Gauteng region.
Newsclip staff who were not able to attend wore orange in support of those suffering from the condition.
The Association is always in need of donations; whether it be time, supplies or cash. Those interested in helping out can contact devfund@netactive.co.za.
